I feel greatly privileged to be the Principal of Noth Bengal Medical College, Darjeeling after assuming the office in July, 2024. This is a old medical college coming up under the auspices of our Government with upgradation of the existing district hospital, Sushrutanagar, Dist: Darjeeling, West Bengal.
The Science of Medicine is developing in leaps and bounds. While keeping pace with this abundance of knowledge is a challenge, the greater challenge is to make this available for benefit of our patients especially in this remote area where access and affordability to health care are major hurdles.
